What if we were like that? What if everything we had to do was, in that moment, our favorite? Could you imagine the stress-free life we'd have? The positive energy we'd be exuding all the time? The people and situations we'd attract to us?
It's probably not realistic to think we could actually live that way all the time (although I believe it's possible), but what if we took it a step down...what if we were just content with every moment? Down further? What if we were just okay with every moment?
We spend a lot of time complaining about our lives, instead of looking for the positive. Unfortunately, the whole concept of "positive thinking" has been taken to the extreme in the New Age, and people end up "thinking" positive without feeling it at all. This is why it's important to differentiate between being excited (like the dog) and being content and being okay. You don't need to have a beautiful positive picture of everything in every moment - if you can find just one thing to be okay about in any moment, you can focus on that. The idea is merely to get you out of the negative, and being just okay with something will do that.
Today, I invite you to be okay with your life. I invite you to consciously look around you, when you remember to, and find something in your situation you're okay with. Being okay is the first step away from victimhood and into empowerment. It's your life. It's your career. It's your relationships. It's your happiness. It's your choice.
