When you do something, do it well. Give it your full attention. This keeps us in the present moment and helps us appreciate life. Ripening a bunch of grapes may not seem an important job for the sun compared to all those planets, but that bunch of grapes could end up feeding a person and saving his life, and that would certainly be important to that person. Or it could make a winning bottle of wine that could change the course of someone's life forever. Or it could be the subject of a painting that revealed the artist within a master painter.
We don't know the effects our actions have. When we give our attention to whatever action it is we're involved in, we honor not only the present moment but the potential held within that action. Today, I encourage you to honor your actions. Be aware of them, and give them your full and grateful attention, knowing that whatever it is you're doing in any moment ripples out through time and into eternity.
