We all have a sixth sense. It is that still, small voice that speaks to us through our intuition. It is the spirit of God within us. We all have it, and we can all choose to nurture it or ignore it. Being psychic merely means that someone is more in tune with that voice and/or has spent more time developing it, and, as with anything else, it can be used for good or not. If a psychic is good at what they do and they do it responsibly, they can give you information that you yourself have blocked for whatever reason, information that helps you heal and move on.
That is why I do psychic readings - to help people heal, and to put them back in touch with their own intuition so that they can trust their own answers in the future. There is nothing magical about it whatsoever - it just seems that way because most of us have tuned out that inner voice.
God speaks to all of us all the time, and my passion is to help people hear that voice. Unfortunately, there are many other voices that we tend to pay attention to instead - the voices of our own self-doubt. But Psalm 46 says, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10) - to hear God's voice, we need to learn how to turn off the other chatter, to center ourselves, to trust.
God speaks to all of us all the time, but the language He/She/It uses is different for each person, and it is only by quieting down and paying attention that we start to learn what that language is. Sometimes it is through a physical feeling, sometimes a picture in our minds, sometimes a "whisper" in our ear. When God speaks and we hear, we are using the "psychic" part of our minds. For good.
This is why I love what I do - what could possibly be more rewarding than helping another person figure out how God speaks to them, to "hear" that inner voice telling them how beautiful they are, how much they are loved, how precious they are? Because those are the messages God gives us. They are always good, and they are always uplifting. And they are always there.
"Be still, and know that I am God." Those are among the sweetest words ever written. Today, I invite you to take them in and to contemplate them. They are a direct invitation to hear the voice of God within you, and to know that all is well.
